2018 Sustainable Investing Conference at the United Nations

ECOSOC Chambers, Tuesday, September 11

Over 400 executives from Financial Institutions, Advisors, and Family Offices filled the hall to discuss the Business Case for the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Investing and the Alignment of the Investor Capital at the UN.

The proceedings opened with a UN Welcome and 9/11 Remembrance and Silence led by BK Gayatri Naraine, NGO Representative of the Brahma Kumaris to the UN. She reminded them of the spirit and purpose of the UN: “The UN is a beacon of light for all humanity. It’s an image of hope for stronger respect, greater freedom, and more compassion. This was followed by opening remarks from Mr. Jeff Gitterman, Co-founding Partner, Gitterman Wealth Management, wherefore the floor was opened for dialogue and interaction.
