With over 92 million tons of textile waste produced annually\, the theme will spotlight the urgent need to reduce\, reuse\, and recycle materials while promoting sustainable production and consumption practices. The campaign under the theme\, Lead by Example\, also highlights the issue of cigarette butt pollution\, the most common type of litter collected during cleanup events\, and encourages action to reduce it.
