July 12, 2025 marks the first celebration of the UN International Day of Hope. Many governments organized events to discuss and highlight the importance of emerging and sustaining hope in ourselves and each other. The bell for world peace, oneness and hope was rung by the Permanent Representative of Timor Leste to the UN.
The Permanent Mission of Kiribati to the UN submitted the resolution to the President of the General Assembly and it was adopted in April 2025.
The Shine Hope Company also plays a vital role in ‘shining hope’ in many areas of humanity – schools, work places, hospitals, veterans – in about 6 countries.
