Charging Our Internal Waters Global Prayer Ceremony

A NYC Climate Week event hosted by a Wisdom Keepers Delegation & Earth Ethics.

On Sunday September 21st International Day of Peace, on the sacred grounds of the Union Theological Seminary just steps away from the Columbia University campus and next to Riverside Church where Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., delivered one of his most memorable sermons when he voiced compelling opposition to the war in Vietnam, a tipi was built to held the gathering. Weaving teachings from Indigenous Wisdom Keepers and interfaith leaders we were guided in meditation with the intention to reconnecting us to the Earth and rekindle the light we all have within, charging our internal waters, and raising the vibration of the planet as one unified whole. Gathering waters from different sacred sources of planet into one vessel that will hold the blessings of humanity. These waters will then travel with the Delegation to Brazil, where they will remain in ceremony throughout the month of November at COP30. Led by Jacob Johns, a Hopi and Akimel O’odham environmental defender, Kareena Gore, lawyer and climate activist, and the unexpected visit of former Vice President Al Gore, through storytelling, the ceremony became a deeply, profound spiritual and magical experience.
