Featured Event during WSSD2 in Doha

Faith-based Solutions ImPACT Coalition and partners co-organized one of the featured events titled, “Designing Cohesive Societies: Inclusive Policies for Social Unity and Equality” to be held on 5 November 2025, 14:15-15:15| Qatar National Convention Center.

Objectives
● Inspire a sense of the importance of cohesive and equitable societies in the attendees.
● Emphasize the role spirituality and faith communities can play (and have played) in reducing
division and discrimination, including gender inequality, within societies.
● Engage attendees by spotlighting good practices from the grassroots, national, and global levels.
● Empower attendees to continue the conversation and take action, individually or through their
organizations.

About the ImPACT Coalition on Faith-based Solutions
The ImPACT Coalition on Faith-based Solutions was launched during the Civil Society Conference at the UN Office in Nairobi on 10 May 2024. This global coalition comprises faith and spiritual actors, including young people, advocating for the inclusion of faith-based language and common values across faiths in UN documents. Emphasizing universal principles such as peace, compassion, and human dignity, the coalition upholds human rights, human dignity, and human security. Core values include cooperation, compassion, and inclusivity.
