On March 12, colleagues and practitioners from across the globe gathered for a powerful and reflective dialogue on restorative justice, truth, and the evolving landscape of legal systems. The session embodied the very spirit it sought to explore—collaboration across borders, perspectives, and lived experiences.
This online NGO CSW70 Forum Parallel Event was hosted by the Brahma Kumaris United Nations Office in collaboration with the International Federation of Women in Legal Careers.
The gathering opened not with formal presentations, but with a moment of pause. A short-guided meditation invited participants to turn inward—an intentional choice that distinguished this session from more traditional discussions on justice. It underscored a central theme that resonated throughout: meaningful systemic change begins with individual awareness rooted in spiritual principles.
Justice, as the session emphasized, is not created only in courts or institutions. It also begins within the human conscience—in the values that shape leadership and guide decision-making.
