A small but dynamic panel of speakers presented their clear concept of how vision shapes reality and when it comes from a powerful, unitive consciousness, that reality is transformative and sustainable. This hybrid High Level Political Forum side event, organized by the Unitive Cluster of the NGO Major Group and co-sponsored by the NGO Committee on Spirituality, Values, and Global Concerns-NY, was held at the Brahma Kumaris Office at the UN.
Participants were also encouraged to share their vision and “what needs to happen for vision to become reality”. Shifts in consciousness was brought to the surface quite a bit. It was also noted that for any real “shift” to take place, the “old” narrative has to be changed. The willingness to think differently was encouraged, giving way to innovative concepts to take shape.
To illustrate how this is possible, “sustainable yogic agriculture” by the Brahma Kumaris was introduced. Watch video here.
Presenters included:
Alfredo Sfeirs-Younis, Former Director of World Bank
Audrey Kitagawa, Founder, International Academy for Multicultural Cooperation.
Youssef Mahmoud, Former Under Secretary General of the UN.
Event was beautifully moderated by Dr. Joni Carley, Convenor of the Unitive Cluster.
