On Sunday, April 19, 2026, Brahma Kumaris Silicon Valley, Milpitas celebrated Earth Day with a Sunset Meditation at Central Park Lake Elizabeth in Fremont, a popular park by the serene lake. They expressed deep appreciation for the Earth and shared healing energy to the elements. The presence of the meditators intrigued many park-goers; they learned about the local center and each one was gifted with a plant.
The Office of the Brahma Kumaris at the UN offered a special meditation on Tuesday, April 21 to honor Mother Earth. The concept that thoughts are like seeds that then become plants that bear fruits when nurtured by the water of intention and sunshine of courage was shared. Our thoughts produce energy that impact the atmosphere and also the decisions we make. Each participant was gifted with a clay pot and seeds in which they can “plant” their thoughts.
